Just want to let everyone know that the reunion committee met and based on the feedback from many of you who attended the fantastic reunion, we will be planning our next reunion in 5 years. Highland Villager

Just a reminder for everyone who attended our reunion: The Highland Villager WAS there! I can't describe him as "the guy with the camera", because that describes lots of people, but he was in the grey t shirt and shorts AND camera. Those of you who receive the Villager newspaper (it's free in Highland, Mac Groveland and parts of Mendota Heights), pay attention to the next few issues and let us know if we "made it". They were interested in pics of our teachers, so we're hoping those photos will appear..

She's at it again...Cindy's updated the blog

Just wanted you to know that I've updated the blog. Hope that you like the new header. I also took the liberty to add Pat's photo to her entry (hope that's ok Pat!). I've also added everyone's email address to our photo site so you should be able to download jpegs at no cost! Here's a group email list of everyone that was listed in the Reunion Book. BIG THANKS - Highland Reunion!

Hi everyone! Hopefully the word will get around and lots of former classmates will join in this blog (If I can figure it out, you can!) Thanks to everyone who attended our big 40th Class Reunion--looks and sounds like everyone had a great time. A special thanks to those who travelled long distances to be with us (and of course to spend time withother local friends and family members)!

Thanks to an amazing committee--you all worked very hard and brought amazing energy, enthusiasm and creativity to this event! We are doing our evaluation soon and if anyone has suggestions/constructive criticism, send it along!

A final BIG thank you to our newest "adopted" classmate, Cindy Kurman Barrie. Cindy jumped right in, taking many many photos at the reunion and extended our celebration by setting up this BLOG, a website for photos and all kinds of other links I don't quite understand yet. Pass the word on this blog--great way to stay in touch!!

Highland Park Class of 68 Reunion Photos Available

OK. I know that "blogging" is new to many of you. This is a way that you can keep in touch with your classmates, share information and view photos. I've created a rather extensive presence for you on the web. I've uploaded the photos that I took to two locations. You can view them as a slide show to the right of this entry. I've also uploaded the photos to our website at Kurman (that's my last name). The general website address is at http://www.kurman.com/. The link to the photos is at: http://kurman.mycapture.com/mycapture/folder.asp?event=571463. If anyone wants to send photos to us, we will upload them to our site for everyone to share. You can also upload them yourself. We'll walk you through the process if you give us a call or drop us an email. When you go to our site, you will have to register but once in, you can download the jpeg and print photos yourself or you can order photos, mugs, t-shirts, murels, and just about everything (who needs a hocky puck with your photo on it?) through the site. Everyone had a great time at the Highland Park Class of 68 Reunion

Big thanks to Maureen Edelston Davis and Pat Johnson Kaplan who went beyond the call of duty to locate 100s of classmates and plan a fabulous reunion. Over 150 people attended, some from as far away as Spain, Hawaii and Mendota Heights. Only 23 spouses attended including yours truly, Cindy Barrie, Lee's wife! Ten teachers came, all looking dapper as did everyone.
